Collaborated during the exploratory phase of a neurostimulation device for psychiatric disorders, focusing on technical foundations and development roadmap for Animal Trials Prototype stage.
Montevideo Medical Devices recently collaborated with Insellar, a company based in Germany, during the exploratory phase of a minimally invasive implantable neurostimulation device intended to address psychiatric disorders. Our work focused on shaping the technical foundations and development roadmap required to advance toward an Animal Trials Prototype stage. This included early architectural decisions across mechanical design, materials and encapsulation strategies, implant form factor considerations, electronics modularization, and embedded software concepts. The goal was to ensure that technical feasibility, integration complexity, and long-term regulatory evolution were considered from the outset.
