The Role
We are looking for a Hardware Developer Intern to join our Hardware team. As a Hardware Developer Intern, you will be heavily involved in the prototyping loop, from schematic capture to soldering components at your bench.
During this intership, you will learn how to design circuits that prioritize safety, miniaturization, and low power consumption, working on technologies like neurostimulators, inductive power transfer systems, and biosignal amplifiers.
What you will do
- Assist in PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer.
- Prototype circuits on breadboards and bare PCBs.
- Execute bring-up testing and verification of new hardware revisions.
- Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, logic analyzers) to characterize analog and digital systems.
- Source components and help manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit theory.
- Experience with basic electronics lab equipment.
- Familiarity with at least one EDA tool (Altium, KiCad, Eagle).
- Excellent hands-on skills (e.g., capable of basic soldering).
